+ What does Bätn-ē stand for?

It’s derived from the Italian word for Botany. The definition of Botany: A field of study, a branch of biology that deals with the study of plants, including their structure, property, and biochemical processes. Science and nature working harmoniously together was how the name came to be.

+ What makes Bätn-ē special?

Bätn-ē is slow beauty with intention. To us, that means we think about the process from start to finish and take our time. We will never release a product we don’t think you will love and want to incorporate into your routine. We make sure that our ingredients are of the highest quality, ethically sourced and made in small-batches and lab tested. The glass bottles were chosen for their unique ability to protect the biophotonic activity. Even our paper is made from t-shirt scraps, using wind energy, and vegetable ink. We believe you can have beautiful products with thoughtful intention behind them.

+ Are Bätn-ē products certified organic?

Our products are made with the purest and highest quality of ingredients. The majority of our ingredients are certified organic. We also use some wildcrafted ingredients of a higher quality than certified organic, and we work with these very special niche producers. In other cases, some of the smaller producers and operations, can't afford to undergo the expensive certification process. They are growing their plants ethically, free of pestcides and fertilizer, and are incredibly environmentally conscious. They are still “organically grown” ingredients though. Due to using some wildcrafted ingredients and choosing to work with some smaller producers, it's why we can’t classify the finished product as “certified organic” on the label. We do indicate on the packaging what is organic, organically grown, or wildcrafted.

+ Are Bätn-ē products tested on animals?

Never. The finished product and none of the phases are tested on animals and none of the individual ingredients are tested on animals. Our products are only ever tested on very willing humans.

+ What are Bätn-ē products made without?

Made without parabens, sulfates, phthalates, or synthetic fragrance.

+ How long will my product last for?

On the bottom of the bottle you will see the Batch Number along with the date the product is good until.

+ Are your products safe to use while pregnant or while breastfeeding?

The products are very safe to use, but it is always suggested to consult your doctor before introducing any new skincare products into your routine if pregnant or breastfeeding.

At this time, we are only shipping in the United States.

+ What is the return policy?

Due to the small-batch nature of our product, returns or exchanges can not be made at this time. We are happy to answer any questions you may have about the product before purchasing.
